muddphudd-- I have thought that may not take more than 3 years to begin. Growth happens easily as things combine and jobs are reduced. After a ton of that kind of growth a buraucracy sets in to over see ALL operations. The cost of tech for a small company is minimal compared to a huge conglomerate... just a cycle, the question is when & what price to enter for the sceniero you describe,,,;-]
HON may not have been a fiasco but may have helped growth. Once this big too many govt agencies want their nose in to 'protect' something or someone that probably does not need protecting. For the above reasons I have only traded GE for some time and hold / add BRKb in its place..
