'Concessions to thugs bring more demands from the same thugs' - #reply-17444813
Were the indigenous of Palestine to accept defeat and complete dispossession by the thugs with the tanks, they would have nowhere to live ... it takes a little land somewhere to survive ... beyond that, in the regional picture, the arab world is going to look at the total extinction of a people within their family and wonder what is next, do the thugs now march on Amman, on Damascus, is there no end to this land grab, will we be safe in Oman, in Yemen ... they will be saying just like Zeev, remember how the Sudetenland was given without a struggle, then the thugs du jour rolled into the rest of that little state, then Poland, then on to Moscow, and in the other direction to Biarritz
So a line must be drawn, history teaches us, and resistance must defend that line .... very important however to defend it effectively, and this means in the Palestine example today that the indigenous must change tactics, they absolutely must renounce violence, must recognise the practicality of the situation, that they are outgunned to an extent impossible to overcome, that they can only harm their cause through futile sporadic retaliation, by handing to the invader pretext to take more and more land .... they need a whole new approach, on gandhian lines, the equivalent of marching to the sea en masse in calm peaceful manner to make a little salt, hurting no one, and armed only with video cameras feeding direct satellite links
But i would never ever tell them to give up .... never |
