To All: Jay Deahna, the analyst at Morgan Stanley, raised his price targets for a number of equip. stocks: Gasonics to 18 from 15 KLA to 66 from 54 Kulicke and Soffa to 45 from 36 Lam Research to 53 from 40 Silicon Valley Group to 40 from 25. He seemed to be basing his revisions on the strong price move of ASMLF and expectations of good news regarding the June book-to-bill due next Wednesday and the Semicon West show in San Francisco next week. IMHO if the rest of the group responds to strong orders like ASMLF did with the Micron announcement, we're in for a wild upward ride. --David
