Woman wins lawsuit after getting Yoda instead of a Toyota

A former waitress has settled a lawsuit against a restaurant that gave her a Yoda doll instead of the Toyota she thought she'd won.

Her solicitor said he couldn't disclose the exact details, but Jodee Berry can now pick whatever type of Toyota she wants.

She won a beer sales contest at the Panama City Beach Hooters restaurant in Florida.

She believed she had won a new Toyota and was escorted to the car park in a blindfold.

But when the blindfold was removed, she was given a doll of the Star Wars character Yoda.

Ms Berry left her job a week later and filed the lawsuit against Gulf Coast Wings Inc, the restaurant's corporate owner, alleging breach of contract and fraudulent misrepresentation.

The restaurant's manager, Jared Blair, has said the whole contest was an April Fool joke.
