Western Wireless Q1 Revenue Increases (note, 23%, Stan)

Boston, May 09, 2002 (MidnightTrader via COMTEX) -- Western Wireless (WWCA) reported tonight Q1 revenue was $290.7 million, an increase of 23% over the first quarter of 2001. Analysts were expecting $274 million in revenue, according to First Call. The company's net loss was $1.22 per share. Analysts were expecting a loss of $0.67 per share, according to First Call.
WWCA is declining on 3,900 REDIBook shares.
