Micron Technology Declines as Hynix Creditors Approve Asset Sale

Boston, May 09, 2002 (MidnightTrader via COMTEX) -- Micron Technology (MU) is declining this morning on 3,400 Instinet shares following several reports that South Korea-based Hynix Semiconductor's board endorsed a plan to sell the company's assets piecemeal. Micron made several attempts over the last few months to buy Hynix assets, but just about a week ago Micron walked away after discussions proved fruitless.
