About 2 weeks ago I researched the major networking stocks (CSCO, COMS, BAY, ASND) because I was ready to jump in. It just so happened that Ascend was the winner. Unfortunately for me, I waited a few days to pull the trigger and before I could say OH SH-T !!! it went from 40 to 50 in those 2 days. But did I reconsider my choice based on this short term missed opportunity? No, because I'm still confident for the forseeable future. If anything, the price runup just reassured me that I was making the right decision. But in the long run, could anyone really go wrong with any of these networking companies in today's emerging, global, communications explosion?
