Research Capital did the bought deal up here. It surprised me as I expected it to be done by an American firm.

I tried to track down the short but was unsuccessful. The position did end up in the hands of a U.S.-based investor. At the time, I thought shorting the stock was idiotic, which just goes to show how dumb I am and how bright that other party was.

Short interest in Canada is inconsequential.

That said, I am completely comfortable with all aspects of the situation. The company's technology is a breakthrough, its balance sheet is stuffed with cash, it is led by excellent management and its trials are progressing well. I have added a bit but will wait for the market to become a bit more enamoured with its future before I add more. As always, a bit "earlie". (g)
