WHITE HAVEN, Pa., May 10, 2002 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Rick
Nardone, President/CEO of EMCEE Broadcast Products, Inc. (Nasdaq: ECIN) of White
Haven, PA, today announced his strategy for augmenting EMCEE's revenue stream.

In the past months, EMCEE has been overhauled by reorganizing and reducing the
work force, by revamping its marketing strategies and by instilling a sense of
urgency within the employees. This multi-faceted approach has resulted in a more
responsive and nimble company with broader product and service offerings
including contract electronics components/equipment manufacturing, technical
field services for broadcasters and electronics engineering/design consulting.

"We are no longer the narrowly-focused equipment manufacturer of broadcast
products limited by the FCC's regulatory inertia and its complex federal
licensing process," stated Nardone. EMCEE's doors are open to any industry we
can serve with our forty-plus years of experience and technical expertise, and
we are aggressively pursuing opportunities to diversify our product line such as
the recently-developed worldwide-agile "freedom" transmitter for the U.S. Army
Special Operations Command.

Although we are now facing several immediate challenges, Nardone is confident
about the future of EMCEE.

With operations in White Haven, Pennsylvania, and Burlington, Kentucky, EMCEE
has over 42 years of RF experience. Its products are installed in more than 100
countries. For more information on EMCEE or its products/services, visit EMCEE's
web site at www.emceebrd.com, email emceebrd@emceebrd.com or contact Kay Krull,
Administrative Assistant, at 570-443-9575.

WHITE HAVEN, Pa., May 2, 2002 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Richard
Nardone, President of EMCEE Broadcast Products, Inc. (Nasdaq: ECIN) announced
today that the first shipment has been delivered on a multi-year contract to the
U.S. Army Special Operations Command. After meeting stringent design
specifications and following extensive R&D, EMCEE Broadcast Products, Inc.
delivered thirty days early on their commitment.

Model TTU1000CQ, nicknamed "the Freedom transmitter", is a one-of-a-kind,
compact, worldwide-agile UHF TV transmitter with an output power of 1,000 watts.
What makes this unit so unique is instantaneous front panel tuning. With the
flip of a thumb wheel switch, an operator changes the broadcast standard (which
varies from country to country). A second thumb wheel changes frequencies from
Channel 14 thru 69.

The all solid-state unit features a multi-standard modulator, dual 500- watt
amplifiers and plug-in redundant power supplies. The units are packaged in air-
and moisture-tight hard fly-a-way cases for easy deployment anywhere in the
world.

EMCEE will produce a commercial version in NTSC format at 500 watts and 1,000
watts that will be available for emergency backup use. Station groups and
translator organizations depend on EMCEE for assistance during emergency
situations such as equipment outages.

EMCEE is a leading supplier of wireless communications equipment for one- and
two-way wireless Internet, video and voice services along with television
