I guess logical logic wouldn't make sense to you.

With an average cost "in the low 7's" on JDSU,
which is currently trading under 4, I wouldn't
say that you got in "near the bottom." You paid at least
100 percent more than what is likely to be the bottom.

Beyond that, while there is some merit to bottom fishing,
the key is to select the right company. Some stocks
are decimated for good reason. JDSU is likely one
of those.

I suspect that you would be lucky to break even,
and then only if you average down.
