T, Well, I used to ride one to college, but that wasn't by choice. I couldn't afford a car. They aren't much on rainy days. Also, cars tend to not see you, so you risk becoming road kill every time you hit the road. Though the same is true of riding a bicycle. In Houston, bike paths are called "ambulance alleys." Texans hate giving up any part of the street for perverts in lycra pants. <g>
