They've been doing stuff like that for a while. It isn't so much the clout of the retailer as it is the power of public opinion and outcry. Several rap albums were left off WalMart shelves years ago for a similar reason. WalMart caters to its clientele very well. Most of their sales are from Mid American Value-type families. They won't do anything to rock that boat.
