Well, there is on this side of the pond, anyway.

Are you a gov't dependent? "Work" for a governmental entity? Or a company that is dependent on governmental largess?

Come on, you can tell us the truth.

I know, because I have hired them at casual labor offices.
And while in college, I was among the hirees. And we were expected to be sober on the job. Or be discharged.

That is the one side of the labour market which is hidden from you.
Wrong.

You know only your own workplace, by and large.
Wrong.

The other side hidden from you is a side that some of the RWE's here know very well.
Wrong.

I can name you lawyers who have a bottle of scotch in their desk and are buzzed before noon. I can tell you another lawyer who spent half the day phoning his bookie and losing the daily profits.
Two out of how many barristers and solicitors in the UK? Not too impressive.
