Breakout signal for the Dow would be given at 10,035. If first we dip down to 9,960 area, then the breakout signal would change to 10,010.

The other way, as I said yesterday, I don't see any breakdown unless 9,960 falls.


"If first we dip" -- we did as Dow kisses 9,972, and the preliminary breakout signal changes to 10,010 as protection against a whipsaw.

edit: and we are there now. Your wiggle-trading middle-biter would wait for 10,035 to fall.
