What makes you think that Isra-El is a democracy, what the news media tells you that it is? You had better look closely at that definition and how it is being applied.
You are comparing Isra-El, an American colony, with Third World people who are trying to emerge from a colonial state being plunged back into one under Isra-El. Where do you think Isra-El gets most of it's financing, technology, and culture?
The Palestinians may be corrupt, but so is the Isra-El government and some of the crooks that finance it from America and Europe.

Lastly, Isra-El is in no way threatened by the Palestinians or the larger Arab world. This is just wolf-crying to gather more contributions, sympathy and arms to continue their campaign of delaying a peace process that would give the Palestinians a State, while they build more settlement, suck up more water for the aquifer. |
