Wayne, 2 Preakness predictions, 1 fairly tepid: 1. War Emblem will go off at no better than 6-1. He will get less respect than most Derby winners.

2. A horse who wasn't in the Derby will figure in the Trifecta. Those Maryland horses without enough earnings to qualify have been finding their grooves on that creaky old Pimlico dirt.
