Using the AAII data in an SSG, the SSG front page is a disaster. I haven't looked at ValueLine or S&P to see whether the do any adjustments that make the earnings picture look any smoother, but according to AAII they haven't had any earnings for the past five years, and in the earlier years when they did, earnings were extremely erratic.

Certainly not a classic SSG stock!

Doesn't mean they aren't a good investment, but they would have to be evaluated outside the SSG model, since we have no real way to project earnings, and there are no P/Es from the past five years to use as a basis for setting a high price.

Am I missing something here?
