Well, it looks like in an effort to save their plummeting stock price, Altera has announced plans to buy back up to 2,000,000 shares of stock. It will be interesting to see tomorrow what effect this has on the the stock price. With earnings just around the corner, I'm not sure if this announcement will cuase people to jump in right away. It will be interesting to watch and see. I do expect a slight rebound in the tech sector when Intel announces their earnings, but I still don't see anything good for ALTR in the near term. I own a significant amount of put options in this stock and I intend to hold on until the Friday deadline. Comments???
