One thing that worries me is rapid rise of extremism on all sides of the Middle East issue, and not just the Middle East. Apparently a conservative Christian congressman gave a speech in March blaming the September attacks on insufficient US support for Israel. This was God's way of punishing the US for not giving enough aid to Israel according to this genius. The rise of Moslem extremism, Jewish extremism, and Christian extremism bodes ill for the future IMHO. And that includes the financial markets
