Do you disagree that the private sector is full of mismanagement, inefficiency, and stupidity? Do you disagree that a majority of private enterprises are uncompetitive? Are you unaware that drinking in the workplace costs somewhere in the vicinity of 150 BILLION dollars per year to the employers??
You give a huge horse laugh as if you think these facts are somehow humorous. Alcohol and drug abuse is rampant in the workplace. Here is one example: "75% of workers paid on an hourly basis at one manufacturing plant reported that it was easy for them to drink at their work stations. This group included assembly line workers, electricians and machinists (G Ames, & W Delaney, "Minimization of Workplace Alcohol Problems: The Supervisor's Role," Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research, Research Society on Alcoholism, Vol. 16, No. 2, 4/92, p. 185)."
Do you know the impact all of this has on families? on children? You sit there in your egg-headed ivory tower, totally disconnected from the factories, the streets, the construction camps, and the misery, hardhip, and despair that fuels the life of an average American...and you throw back your head and give a big horse laugh.
