Ah, but just and logical to whom?

To me of course, because we are talking about my opinion or faith.

I believe that God has created a world that is just and logical judged by God's standards of what is just and logical. But I do not even pretend to understand what God finds just and logical. To do so puts me in judgment over God, which is a place I am not interested in being.

I don't know what God is like, and can not know his standards, so I have to use my own.

In any case if by God you just mean the creator of the universe I consider it possible that someone or something could create the universe and not be good and just and logical. I don't think this is the case in reality but the mere posibility would tend to argue against me abandoning my own standards (I could be convinced that my standards are wrong but then I would just have my own new standard not someone elses standards that I blindly accept). And since God does not talk directly to me (or if he does I have not heard him) I am left only with other people's opinions about God's standards. I do not plan to abandon my standards for someone else's opinion about God's standards.
