"You have linked Barrick to everything from Enron to defunct hedgefunds and called Barrick employees liars, cheats and incompetent managers." I would like to clarify that I actually have a lot of respect for Barrick's operational managers. I think they are some of the best in the mining business. And frankly while I might disagree with some of the top management, almost all of the Barrick employees I have ever met have been exceedingly nice and competent people. I never said anyone was a liar or a cheat. I do think that Barrick might have had a few things in common with the creative accounting of Enron but I can not prove that so I will let it set.
