If you or I could call the absolute lows and highs in stocks, we wouldn't be posting here on Silicon Investor! ;>)
The bet here (sell Berkshire, buy Naz 100s and Biotech Trust) is that, over time, there is more upside in two severely depressed (which, as you said, could become even more depressed, sometimes new lows beget new lows) index trusts, while BRK is at, or near, a new 52 week high, and may not have that much upside left.
