Do you know the specific formula for productivity -- doesn't it amount to something like

GDP/(# employed x hrs worked)

Is it really worth anything? I've always thought it was total BS and ignored it ... I seriously doubt if it is a basis on which to compare the economy of the US vs that of the EZ and also expect it doesn't even enter into the calculus of FX traders ...
