Is it really any wonder, therefore, that the Palestinian Authority has published the Arabic translation of Mein Kampf, and that this screed of hate has reached number six on its best-seller list? Is it any wonder that, in the introduction, the translator, Luis Al-Haj, glorifies Adolf Hitler?
No, it isn't really any wonder at all, because the Arab Middle East wouldn?t even know what to do with itself without anti-Semitism. Without hating Jews, the Arabs would actually have to reconcile themselves with why they have yet to produce one prosperous, functional and democratic society. It is easier, therefore, to just hate a group of people who have done exactly that in a tiny piece of Middle Eastern land that was a desert fifty years ago. frontpagemag.com |
