Christopher, I too would seek better approaches to the governance of society. I feel my "brand" of Libertarianism seeks to explain and promote what is best for all in society. I don't feel that my view of Libertarianism- when understood- can conceivably be seen as "turning its back on society."

Have I not stated that I believe privatization of education would produce results that would be best for all concerned, rich and poor alike? If I am correct, then this would be a good thing for society, nothing less. You do not have to understand and/or agree, to accept that I believe this(I do). If you can merely accept that I believe this(as I have stated), then it should not "seem" to you at all, that I see Libertarianism as turning its back on society.
