Monday May 13, 7:00 am Eastern Time Press Release SOURCE: Clifton Mining Company Clifton Mining Receives Large Scale Mining/Milling Permit ALPINE, UT, May 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Clifton Mining Company (Clifton) (OTC: CFTN - News) is pleased to announce that it has just received approval for its large scale mining/milling permit and plan of operation. Clifton had already received tentative approval, pending the placement of a $38,000 reclamation bond, with the State of Utah Department of Oil, Gas and Mining. Clifton has now finished the paperwork and placed the cash bond. Mr. Bill Moeller said,
"This is a very important step for our mining company, because now, after four or five years of negotiations and work with government agencies, we are approved to move to a large-scale operation. It takes years to get these kind of mining/milling permits; that is, if you are lucky enough to get them at all. We are glad to say that we are already there. We have the permits in hand for large-scale production as soon as drilling is completed. These permits are so hard to get that we have already had companies, as far as 700 miles away, asking to lease the plant to process their ores."
Clifton is also pleased to announce that the exploration and mining permits for the Cane Springs mine have also been granted and are in place.
Clifton trades on the U.S. OTC: (CFTN).
