Moderate Arab states are beginning to understand that Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat endangers regional stability, and are starting to press him to stop the violence, OC Intelligence Maj.-Gen. Aharon Ze’evi reportedly told the cabinet yesterday. He said these Arab states – apparently referring to Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia – are not alone, and more and more world leaders see Arafat as the "problem, not the solution." Ze’evi said Arafat is also facing unprecedented domestic criticism.
