the cars can hit 220-230+mph on the straights and are faster at every point in the turns, and I'm pretty sure out-accelerate the bikes through all distances. The bikes never hit 200mph in the straights at any track. So you're right that the layout matters but I'm don't think it would ever swing things in favor of the bike. The bikes are around 180 HP, they had the new GP bikes that are being tested up to 230 HP but they can't get that power to the ground efficiently on only one wheel, the tires spin up and shred way before the race can be completed.
