CHU subs represent about 65% of the total for the entire Unicom Group, which would put total subs goal nation wide for end 2002 at around the 7 million mark.

Looking through the numbers....

China United had 520,000 subscribers on March 18th.

Unicom had 510,000 subscribers on March 26th.

Unicom had 568,000 subscribers on March 31st.

China United had 800,000 subscribers on April 7th.

I might be wrong....but it seems like Unicom has more than 65% of China United subs. The ramp for China United began on March 18th....if it was linear all the way to April 7th, I came up with Unicom having about 80% of the total subscribers on March 31st. Since it seems likely that the total might actually be backend loaded (weighted towards April 7th), the percentage could be higher.

Am I missing something?
