Tom "NEW YORK, July 11 (Reuter) - Shares of At Home Corp could nearly double at the opening of trading when the Internet company goes public, according to IPO analysts. The Redwood City, Calif., company allows customers to hook up their PCs over their existing cable television coaxial cables with cable modems that run over 300 times faster than regular dial-up modems". ATHM's stock rose +6 1/2 today. GIC had better hurry up & get their cable boxes shipped and set up because PC connection at home could become at least as important as TV connection. I just can't stand waiting for this breakup to go thru since i have a feeling that it is holding "everything" back. It will be great to get this behind us at this critical moment in time when the future cable infastructures are being imployed. louis mason.
