Mick, Hi!! RE: . The most controversial of S&P's new standards would treat employee stock options as a quarterly expense against earnings. The matter has drawn attention in Congress where Sens. Carl Levin (D., Mich.) and John McCain (R., Ariz.) have proposed legislation that would require companies to show their stock options as an annual expense or risk losing certain tax breaks. These guys have me laughing on the floor...Let's have them talk about the pork their colleagues spend daily and have spent for yeeeeeeeeeaars with the tax dollars of all of us...Then I'll listen to their concerns about "saving" the shareholders from themselves...
