Thanks for your quick response on the PPL timeline, you either must have returned from Europe or be burning up that transatlantic bandwidth. Also was not aware that you were cross-licensed with PPL, I'll be sure to speak of them with more respect in the future <g>.

While we're on the subject of transgenic competitors, don't know if you saw this Reuter's wire story from yesterday (there is a similar wire story today, but it basically reiterates):

Seems that Applied Phytologics has taken the alpha-1-antitrypsin gene into RICE, and plans to harvest its first crop this September.

How great a threat do you see botanical transgenics representing to animal transgenics and GZTC? (outside of xenotransplantation; don't see a real future in growing donor livers on squash plants in the Imperial Valley) How big a problem is the glycosylation issue?
