I can recognize examples of what you are saying in the majority of stocks that my broker has recommended to me.
eg. 'South American Gold' was suggested at @ 2.10. It lingered there for a while, and since Bre-x & gold prices went south it is no under .60. At now time was there a single suggestion by my broker that I should get out. as a matter of fact the analyst's target remains the same as it did 4 months ago - over 4.00. The rating also remains the highest the brokerage gives any stock. This is a major brokerage, not a small one. There have been no updates, comments, nothing during this entire time. Has anyone else experienced this kind of treatment or is this a bazaar isolated case. For me it's become the norm with many other stocks. It's like pulling teeth.
In my limited experience, it's like buying something off the shelf in a grocery store, you don't know how long that recommendation has been there and it could sit there forever.
