15:48 ET Gemstar-TV Guide rumor (GMST) 9.00 +0.66: We are hearing a rumor that GMST will settle their patent infringement claim against DISH, SFA, and Pioneer (see Archive for details); we have not confirmed this rumor, and we also note that while a settlement would remove an overhang from the stock, we are also hearing that a settlement could remove some significant upside if GMST were to win the case.
