It's nice to see unanimous agreement among shareholders over on Raging Bull that $2 is an unacceptable offer. Malone is trying to steal this company in a depressed market and may have trouble doing so. The insiders and Liberty Media do NOT control enough of this company to do what was done to LSATA and LDIG. In each of those cases Malone controlled 80-90% of the stock. That is not the case here. It's very suspicious the way the stock tanked after the NASCAR deal was announced. Malone definitely wants to own this company but, even as soon as the year 2000, was buying stock on the open market in the range of $14-15. And now he wants us shareholders to accept a $2 offer? Get real.
I've owned this stock since 1998, having bought in originally at $2. At that time, the company had little cash in the bank and was far from rolling out either Spot-on or any One-to-One sports application. Now, we are rolling out the NASCAR deal and, hopefully, close to rolling out Spot-On. We have over $70 million in the bank, have acquired both Intellocity and Bottlerocket, and have consummated several important strategic deals in the meantime. Someone please explain to me why we would be worth less now than in 1998? Malone is trying to steal this company. It's up to us, the shareholders, to stop him.
