OT: Of course you're right Bob, but by the time I got here 'Greenwood' was buggies and preferring the flats it was the 'NEW' Woodbine for me. I too was sad to see Greenwood go as it is pretty close as I'm out on the east side just shy of the Pickering border. (Probably close enough to the reactor to glow a bit at night and I often go by the big windmill, pretty cool :o)

Actually I first time I came out to TO for a horse race I was just a kid. The Queen's Plate when the Queen actually showed up and Toronto didn't have any credible China Town except for a few hovels around the new city hall where they had trouble finding chopsticks LOL.. The 401 was the top of Toronto....Who'd want to live north of that ... My how the times have changed.
