David, I have always made my own decisions about what I buy and sell, hence I have rarely used full service brokers. However, every so often there is a certain IPO I would like or a research report (normally geared at institutional clients) that I would like to read. I would be willing to pay somewhat higher commissions in return for the above. Should I take out the old college yearbook and see who I know at Morgan Stanley (or Dean Witter) <g> or is there a better way? SC
