Joe re: Of the 2 kinds of support, economic and moral, I don't think cutting economic aid to Israel would lead to destruction (as long as aid to Egypt and all the other neighbors is cut at the same time) under normal conditions Israel economy can sustain itself but Israel in a constant war. Cutting aid to Egypt would lead to immediate military alliance of Egypt, Iraq, Syria and few others against Israel.
