It's a bummer when one discovers something that you were certain of isn't true. On the bright side, it means you are constantly challenging the 'facts'.

'Truth is illusion' is Descartes-like..he probably said it at one point or another. It must of been a tough life for Rene. The only thing he seemed to be certain of was the 'he was'...after that he wasn't sure of much else.

I'll bet he would have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of The Matrix
