YYB is abusive and provocative. Christopher is tweaking her, where he might have flamed her. I agree, it is distasteful, but given that it is YYB, there is mitigation.
Thanks for the help. The "blackmail attempt" is, indeed, not much of anything except an outburst by Chris: if what Jeff allows is the standard, maybe (I) should violate the "to or about", since that is not dictated by Jeff.
I have seen people be friends, become foes, and sometimes become friends again, on the threads, as in life. I do not know the nature of the initial relationship to put CHs comments in context.
As for the last, I got into a big fight with him over that, not many posts down from the one linked. It was the most exasperated I have ever been with him. However, he seemed quite unruffled, even as I got more openly angry. This lead me to speculate that he was taking a position in order to see where it lead the discussion. I cannot say for sure, but that is what I think......... |
