My experiences tell me your account has to be mid to high end 6 figures to get the attention of the candy brokers give away for hot IPO's. If your yearbook has some people that you have some dirt on, you may be able slip into some IPO's without the large portfolio. All brokerage firms I know of can discount their commissions if clients ask and deserve such pricing. I use Merrill and Brown currnelty. Now onto @Home, is this thing going to continue down? Rather weak first day of trading. Is MSFT going to force Comcast to terminate their relationship with @Home after June of '99?
