Probably be a couple of boom years going into Bush's next election. Even so, gold will rise IMO until all the factors currently favoring it dissipate which may take a while.

I dont know how you can create booms when you are not hiring people or increasing your works force. You can create busts in the market due to over enthusiasm but economic booms with present debt load and revamping in audit procedures will be difficult if not impossible to create in the near future.

I was looking at Ca employment figures and they really are loose figures. realistically you are left guessing as they aren't all that accurate about all that is accurate is payroll.

How would you create a boom?
