It's a very, very smart way to travel provided it is not done on a bet the farm basis. The payoffs can be huge. The article on Taleb was very interesting. I don't know if it's available anymore in print or electronically. He essentially bets that random events will occur infrequently, but that their effect is enormous. The trick is in mathematically determining the amount of losses that can be sustained while waiting for the payoff. In a world full of potentially catastrophic terrorism events, the tactic seems rational. C2@bloodinthestreetsindeed.com
