also, it is not like i always agree with Abelson, although i do think he has a point about these "Get Shorty" rallies. i've seen a lot of stats of late about how up days are concentrated in bear markets. things like 19 of the biggest 20 up days on the Nas have occurred since March 2000. i must've seen five or six different studies of this sort (all with slightly different numbers--presumably they are measuring different indexes or something--but all with the same basic message) in the past WEEK. on Fleck, out of Bearron's, on comstock, on Lance Lewis, etc.

so there seems to be a bull market in bearish statistics if nothing else -g-.
