ANADIGICS announced that the company has received high volume production orders from LG Electronics for its InGaP HBT (indium gallium phosphide hetrojunction bipolar transistor) power amplifiers (PA). Korean-based LG Electronics has selected ANADIGICS CDMA PAs for use in their forthcoming 2.5G CDMA handsets which combine high call quality with two-way real time multimedia service, and support high-speed data communication.

ANADIGICS' family of InGaP HBT CDMA power amplifier modules are housed in a 6mm x 6mm x 1.6mm package and are designed to support PCS CDMA, CDMA-1X, and cellular applications.
