A tidbit. I had an oil change plan with monky ward and thereby became an unsecured creditor when they went belly up. Yesterday a package came in mail from Committee of Unsecured Creditors. Speaking of GE Credit the introductory letter said "Defendants intentionally misled creditors and manipulated Wards' second bankruptcy filing to benefit their own credit card and marketing businesses" There were a number of nasty statements about GECC.
Today in the mail came the big envelope filled with GE claims. Bottom line they urged creditors to take 20 cents on the dollar instead of smaller amount probable after paying the lawyers. FWIW
