I did not say they are high dividend paying. To the contrary. The perception of wealth comes from the bidding up. It is a game. First in and out before the game ends.

Games:

DSL done. Wireless cooked. Software hammered. (stocks may look cheap if in single digits..but keep in mind the numerous splits along the way a.k.a. distribution). Networking and optical..anyone need the capacity? (when they keep reinventing to compress higher and higher throughput in single strands and consequently are continually making themselves obsolete)

Some games go on for longer. e.g. the semis. Without them it would be curtains.
