Neocon. You know that I would be the first to agree here as I have been the guy who acted out of frustration toward Poet and her reaction to various things on these threads. Not proud of it and it has a lot to do with major changes I have made in my posting demeanor. My first reaction a year ago when this came up was oh boy here we go again. I don't think I am alone in having considered this possibility either based on the initial postings when this flaired up. <hardly anyone has considered the possibility that Poet over- reacted and that Chris has unfairly had the whole burden for the situation dumped on him. That makes the most sense to me, from what I have observed of them, to split the blame. That can make a guy act out of frustration and resentment. Again, it looks like he will be excluded from the main action on this part of SI, among people he knows, or ignored by a number of them, if he is let on the thread Chris has acted out of frustration and resentment toward people who offered out of friendship to mediate and help to repair the situation here. He has quickly dismissed long term buddies and angrily attacked them in the process. He has not shown resentment toward Poet he has continually proclaimed his undying devotion to getting back the relationship he lost with her. He continues even to this day to push for that. The question in my mind is not whether Poet ever over reacts, myself or others do dumb stuff out of frustration, or whether the TOU is a good or bad system. "That can make a guy feel that he is getting screwed.. Most of the people here are not engaged in a screw job just out of some sort of pack mentality. Surely you have seen the efforts to encourage a positive outcome. The current issues have nothing to do with how Poet may have reacted or not. They have to do with personal violation and destructiveness. Be Chris's friend. Be careful not to get sucked into an enabling role. "and want to find a more comprehensive solution than putting his tail between his legs and heeling......... Many of us are with you on that. Based on the communications I have had with Chris, I don't see any way to reach a resolution that doesn't involve legal authority. sorry to say.
