I like Unison, and I work with them quite a bit on a business basis. I like their people, and their products, though they're in a bit of disarray internally at times. But then, having worked for half a dozen high-tech companies I can assure you that many of them are pretty well screwed up internally.
Clients seem quite pleased with Unison overall, as opposed to what I hear about how sites feel about CA, or about Platinum.
I do wonder if Unison will survive long-term with only backup, batch scheduling and spooler products. The current user trend is toward an integrated suite of system management products rather than point solutions, which favors the CA's and HP's over the smaller vendors. They'll probably continue to partner closely with Tivoli and others to dodge these issues.
As for their stock price, I believe there's little coverage by major analysts, and little institutional ownership. Until Unison gets noticed I'd be surprised to see the stock move very much.
But I sure *hope* it goes up. I bought a few lots today, and I'm looking for $15-20 in the next twelve months. Seems like a far better bet than expecting $30 from AAPL...

THough I have some vague idea about what UNSN software does, does anybody have first-hand experience with their software? or heard anything from its users?
       Thanks,
